Description The 32nd Hoernle lecture delivered by Rev. Leon Sullivan, an American civil-rights leader and social activist who developed the who developed the "Sullivan principles" which forms part of his dicussion, in which the pricnciples are outlined in detail with reference to the South African and American political situation, noting that there are differences and comparisons. He tried to persuade multinational corporations not to do business with South Africa while apartheid existed and to follow the codes of conduct and to play a more active role in social justice and human rights.
