A new Civic Centre has been completed at Mount View, Verulam, at a cost of R325 000. Funds were provided by the National Housing Commission on a low-interest basis.

The modern building will be available to the community for live shows, weddings, receptions and other public activities. The main hall seats 800 and can also be used for badminton.
