Description:  The photograph depicts a row of men in traditional military attire.  They are carrying traditional Basotho wing-shaped shields and knobkerries.  The men are also holding conical-shaped staffs, which are possibly made of ostrich feathers.  One of the men is wearing a plume on his head, and a couple of the men appear to be smoking pipes. There are other men standing in the background.
