Your letter of the 23rd October reached me yesterday. Thank you for same. Ringing me is expensive and I understand that you could not phone. No, Des did not ring . Did you expect him to? I think I have with you only a rare relationship, where we call each other from time to time and tell of our aches and pains - and I value you this immeasurably .
