There is no doubt that our deputation to India have rendered yeoman services to our cause. As a result of the able manner in which they presented our cases the deputation successfully enlisted the sympathy and support of the Indian public,and of the Press throughout the length and breadth of that vast continent. This is clear from the proceedings of the many gatherings of Congress, Leagues and Association which met during Christmas week and which adopted strong resolutions condemning the action of the Union Government and wholeheartedly support us in our struggle.
